This series consists of subsidiary registers maintained by the Mining Registrar, Alice Springs. Subsidiary registers were kept by mining registrars in the major centres of the Northern Territory. Mining Registrars recorded transactions in their district's subsidiary register and then updated the relevant tenement registers. Volume 1 contains the following sections; agreements (nos 2/56-3/82), amalgamation of leases (nos 1/43-9/80), applications to amend register (nos 1/44-260/79), caveats (nos 12/53-18/81), declarations of loss (nos 1/42-1/75), devolutions (nos 1/44-10/80), discharges (nos 1/45-1/82), exemptions (nos 10/62-55/82), injunctions (nos 1/52-1/77), liens (nos 1/52-1/72), mortgages (nos 1/44-1/81), objections (nos 1/44-12/81), orders of court (nos 1/50-1/77), reinstatement of leases (nos 1/47-1/68), transfers (nos 8/59-34/82), withdrawals (nos 1/55-31/81) and Warden's Court plaint book (nos 1/61-2/81).
